Sherlock 3 is Apple Computer's web application that presents content obtained from internet in a customized fashion with display, search and data enhancement functionality beyond the capabilities of common browsers.
At the core of Sherlock 3 are XPath, XQuery and ECMAScript, all standard internet languages. Services in Sherlock 3 are written in XML and other web services can be integrated into Sherlock 3 using REST, SOAP, XML-RPC et al.
